What is considered open carrying as far as knives go? I know in a sheath or case on your belt, but is it considered open carry with a folder in my pocket with the clip showing? I carry a 4" blade right now but have my eyes on a 5.5" folder. Now I do have my concealed weapons permit, so does that negate the length laws?

Im not a lawyer nor do I claim to be an expect on the subject but yes your CCW does allow for carry of longer blades And even autos. But that being said there are still many cities that have stricter laws then the state and its always a good idea to contact LE and ask about local ordinances where you intend to carry. And even though open carry is legal I dont push it by strapping a bowie to my hip when I run to walmart.
