--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Its a new day at Busse Combat my friends. We have made enormous changes designed to serve you better and offer you many more options when choosing your Busse knife. The new line is very exciting and the designs are extremely cool! We will be doing things quite differently and here are just a few of the highlights.
Sheaths are no longer included with and therefore are not added to the price of the knife. We are doing this to better serve you. Now, instead of having to pay for a sheath you do not want, you will be able to choose from a wide variety of sheathing options and can have your sheath customized to your liking.
There will be three types of sheaths available, including Cordura, Kydex, and Leather. We have the top sheath makers in the world participating in this venture including, Dwayne Puckett (Armoralleather), Mike Bartol (Mt. Mikes), and Kenny Rowe with various styles and options in leather. Eric Noeldechen (On Scene Tactical), Brian Wagner (Okuden), and Dave Brown (Buy Brown). In cordura we feature the awesome designs of Dan Hirayama (Semper Paratus).
In regards to shipping, Busse Combat has now turned the corner on missed or delayed delivery dates with this new production protocol and we are delivering all standard model offerings within the quoted delivery time periods.
Knife finish and handle options will be numerous. Blade finishes may include Three different Camo Combos (Urban, Desert, and Jungle), Satin, Double Cut, Tan, and Black. Handle options will likewise vary from model to model.
We are also considering a serial numbered, Limited Edition version of each model on its first run.
The production schedule is slated at 1 or 2 models per month for the next 12 months. Those models will ONLY be available during the month they are offered and will not be offered again for at least full year. For example, the Force One and the Nuclear Air Rescue Knife (NARK) were offered during the month of August, 2004. They will not be available again for at least a full year until August, 2005. Likewise, the options available the next time around may be very different from those available the first time. This 12 month stretch between batch runs, should make reselling your Busses very easy during the interim.
Here' are some of the models that you will see this year. They are in no particular order.
