Hello! Randalls are beauties, and the Randall #1 style will be with us forever!
I hope my confusion won't be though. I know that the Border Patrol style kinda has a large conved curved section that fits in your palm, and the single finger grip is pretty much straight forward, as is the full finger grip. The commando style is similar to that found on Fairbairn/Sykes (similar curves) so that is cool too. Then there is the mystery handle shape that has no name! If you order a Randall #1 in leather, you get a roundish handle that is thicker at the butt end and has a sligth curve in it. I have seen pics of micarta handled knives like this too, but there is no name in the catalog for this style! What is it?
