Does it strike anyone else as weird that Case seems to organize their catalog by handle material instead of frame/blade pattern? I went to browse a bit to see if anything else appealed to me, and gave up because nothing is findable by properties that are meaningful to me.

Is there a more accessible way to get at their product line?

Their big distributor that isn't a BF dealer member has a catalog you can request that has just about everything.

There are several major online Case retailers who have their Case knives sorted by multiple methods. You can click on "by pattern" or "by handle material".

The largest Case knife dealer in the country [who isn't a Bladeforums supporter so I can't say the name] has an excellent website. Lots of exclusives. Factory photos scattered throughout. Reference 'books' online with tons of great info. Very good pricing. Clear and large stock photos of every single variation. Browse the entire stock by handle material or pattern. I most often shop by typing CV into the search box. ;)

They have a paper catalog they'll send you for asking, but it's not as good as the website. And if you get the chance to stop by in person, they have a large display case of Discontinued items. My problem, I can never remember which ones I already own. :(

Just a friendly reminder to everyone. It's always OK to provide any info outside the forum, email, PM, VM phone call. It's all good. We just don't feel it's appropriate to provide free advertising for Dealers who don't support the forum.

I agree 100%, and I'm happy to answer any PMs or emails.
And for the record, there are several supporting dealers with good selections of Case knives as well.
