Flavio Ikoma's Harrier "Croc" 350 is on the cover of this month's Blade Mag!!! That and a pretty decent article by Dave Rhea.

This is the photo on the cover...apologies, I don't have a copy of the mag yet, I have a PDF that I can't seem to copy. BTW, this is an IKOMA photo.
 
No disappointments on this one! I'm not surprised at the Cover shot. Outstanding photograph and display! :thumbup:

Flavio's knives are always mindboggling in the handwork and carving.

An excellent maker and a fine gentleman. I had the pleasure of first meeting Flavio (and buying a rendition of a traditionally styled Japanese tanto from him) at the Blade Show about 10 years ago.

I wish MY copy of Blade magazine would get here already.

Hi Duane,

I got my copy yesterday. Flavios's article is stunning. A real showstopper. (Hey, knifemakers aren't supposed to be BETTER than a 'professional' photographers. ;) Mea culpa.... :foot: We're both scratching our heads in delight and review. ;))

BTW, the entire issue is wonderfully visual. Most impressive displays I've seen lately. I'll find out if something has changed in their art dept. Mabe just me.

GREAT job Flavio!!! Love that the entire front cover of Blade's Feb 2010 magazine is Flavio's pic of his Harrier with the gator skin background! Very coooool!
