Received my copy of Knife World a few days back and want to extend congratulations to Ken Coats and Mike Robuck for a nicely written article highlighting Ken's slipjoint work.

Ken

Got my copy last nights. Really nice article by Mike about one of our stalwarts.
Congrats, Ken!

I haven't gotten one yet, but its great to see a member getting the recognition deserved.

Congratulations to Ken and Mike

OH BOY!!! Can't wait to get my copy some day soon! Congrats guys and Thanks Ken for the heads up.

Congrats Ken and Mike!

I would really like to read this article but I currently don't subscribe to Knife World. Would this copy be on the newstands right now?

I have to run some errands later and I could pick it up then.

I could be mistaken but I am pretty sure Knife World is only available by subscription. Well worth the price especially if your a traditional knife lover.

Ken

I hate to admit this, but I've never subscribed to Knife World because I assumed it didn't have much about traditional knives, I guess I was wrong.

I read the article yesterday. It was very interesting, especially the discussion about coloring bone. It reminded me of a canyon I found in southeast Washington where the local ranchers used to dump dead cattle. Never seen so much old bone.

My KW has not hit yet, but I already know it is going to be a great read.

Congratulations to both of you and thank you for what you do for our community,

I'm usually the last to get my KW! (Damn furriner ya know!)
Can't wait!! Thanks for putting out the effort, Mike!! Can't wait to see what you have to say about Ken.

I would like to thank Mike Robuck and KW for the article. As for the chronological order, he was dead accurate. Thanks for the mention Ken and to everyone on these forums for making it possible. THANKS EVERYONE!
Ken.

Thanks Ken Erickson, and everyone else, for the nice comments. Thank you, Ken Coats for letting me write about you. Ken has a lot of great stories and it would be easy to sit back and listen to him for hours, let alone watch him make knives in his shop.

I'm looking forward to getting my copy of KW and I appreciate Mark Zalesky letting me write for the publication.

Thanks for the coffee today, Ken. It was a pleasure stopping over to chat this afternoon! I'm in awe of your workmanship! I'm looking forward to getting started on mine!
