Congrats to Rob Simonich on his Collaboration with Camillus

Thanks Brian, I am very happy with the response it recieved at the SHOT Show. Camillus deserves a big hand in having the guts to learn how to grind this material in a production setting as well as working with a material this expensive!

One thing to note however is that the name of the Quest will be changed, come to find out Buck Knives has the name trademarked. Will let everyone know when a new name is chosen.

Thanks again!

Hi guys,
I'm longing for this "formerly named Quest" from Camillus also but I have no idea about it's price.
I want one fast because our Euro valuta is dropping so fast that I probably can't afford to buy one anymore in half a year.
Your Dollar is becomming really expensive for us poor Dutch.

Cheers, Bagheera

PS a friend just received a Talonite drop point hunter from Mayo knives and he's HAPPY

Don L, spot on!

Bagheera, I dont know what the retail price will be, but it will be certsainly less than my customs.

Having Camillus make my design in Talonite is pretty much the golden ring for me!

hee hee hee

"the knife formerly known as Quest"

Am I the only one who sees this as humorous??

Of course, now I HAVE to get one of these! Great timing guys, first the Becker line, and now this...I'm never gonna have any money in my pockets!!!

I have to ask after reading this on Rob's site (after explaining the Camillus Quest):

"Please feel free to buy the Quest model and cancel your custom order if you'd like."

WHAT????? Like someone would do that? I think Rob might end up with an INCREASE of orders for his custom work!!!

Yeah, sure, Rob, like the way people stopped buying stainless steel knives from custom makers once factories started producing them.

No offense to Camillus but I think Will would be the first to admit that this will be a production knife and though I like Camillus quality, there's no way for them to make it to your custom standards. Which is fine with me since I can't afford to have someone make a knife to your custom standards. I probably can't afford this one either but at least it'll be closer!
