Yeah.. I haven't read them yet but its good to see familiar faces. And whats up with Peter Gill? He has his name all over this issue.

Thank you. I just received my copy yesterday.

BTW, the article I wrote is going to be a 3 part not a 2 part article.

Additionally, I would like to publicly thank Roger for his kind words in his article.

As for Peter Gill...I'll be talking with Steve Shackelford to insure we will have no more of that! :D
 
Hi Keith,

Roger has had several articles published in Blade. I have been writing regularly for Blade and Knives Illustrated for the last 3 years.

The "Big Head" thing is long over. LOL :D
 
I just got my copy a few days ago. Good articles guys. Congratulations.

I thought your advice was excellent for new collectors Roger.

I enjoyed both articles thoroughly. I loved the Q&A format with Dan Farr querying Roger. I also found the four categories of innovation Les outlines as a guide to a knife's appreciation in value. Well put.

I agree. I would like to see more collectors profiled to find out what drives their collecting.

Although I suspect many are not interested in the publicity.

Really enjoyed both articles! Roger's two-part on collecting/making/using very informative with great photos. Glad to hear there will be 2 more to follow with Les' article.

I think Roger produced an article with real value. I am getting about a call a day thanking me for the article, which of course Roger did most of the writing. I will be cutting out Les's article and saving it as a reference.
