Good on ya Scott...thanks for supporting the troops and I hope the Spec. Forces Op. makes it home in one piece and that your knife gets the job done...

It is in the Jan. 2006 issue. You can't see the knife because it is in the belt of a soldier.

Scott, you should be proud.

Congratulations Scott. Thanks for supporting our fine troops. I guess you're famous now. :D

All bladeforums guys...

I'm really proud of them. It is a fantastic thing they've done, and wonderful that they're being recognized in the mag for it (even though I'm sure that was the last thing on their minds). :)

Congrats Scott and the rest of you fellows!!

Well I guess this thread is a good place for my 3,000th post.:D Brian Goode gets the credit for his hard work making all the contacts to get this into Blade along with Roger Linger for heading up the project. Plus all the great makers over in shoptalk. This has to be one of the most satisfying knives I've ever made. To be able to help our American Heros is a feeling that is hard to put into words. It was my pleasure to help and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks Ren for pointing it out and thanks to everyone else for your kind words.;)
Now all I need to do is get my issue in the mail. Rural postal service is always behind.
Scott

Congratulations to everybody. Got my issue on Friday and was glad to see these men commended for their good deeds. I was also very pleased to read that one of the special forces soldiers said that he will give his knife to the next guy who comes in for his tour of duty.
