Our very own Bill Buxton was included in "Artistry in Knives" in the April issued of Knife World. This is a particular honor, as only a few images are included in each issue, and they are truly the Best of the Best.

Way to go Bill!

Way to go Bill,

You definately deserve some recognition. It sure is nice to see so many familiar faces get noticed that hang out her.

WOW, Thank you all very much. Mark from Knife World sent me a copy the other day and I was totally blown away when I seen my knife placed in with such beautiful pieces and talented makers. I never throught in my wildest dreams when I started making knives 13 yrs. ago that I would ever have knives published in a magazine. This is truly a great honor.

Thank You

Bill

Congrats, Bill! It is not easy to break into the "recognition arena" in knifemaking. I am very happy, for you, my friend, to being on the way to getting the recognition that your knives deserve. Your skillset elevates with every piece, and they are far and above anything I will ever be capable of. I revel at each new piece I get to see!

Be happy, a lot of people got to see a Buxton knife in this well-read knife publication. Kudos, too, to Mark Zalesky (Knifeworld editor) for recognizing the quality of your work and selecting your knife for publication.

thank you all again, its very humbling to have such high praise come from so many highly talented makers.

Mr. Fitzs, I thank you personally for all your knowledgeable opinions and advice that you have taken the time to share with this Ol'hillbilly, you are a true and highly valued friend. Thank You.

Bill

Mr B, you're friendship enriches my life significantly. What little I know is yours... it's a small brain, thus should be easy to pick... ;)

Thanks for the kind words, bud!

Way to go Bill!!!!

From what I have seen of your work (online pics), I think you should have made that calumn a while back! I'm sure everyone here would agree that you Bill are the postermaker for the gentlemanly, knowledge sharing, hard working, super skilled, humble knife maker. Keep up the good work! I still will order a hawk from you one day!
