Both, good articles in the current addition of Knives Illustrated.

Mike Ruth - "Les' Picks"

Very nicely none Les, as usual.

Burt Foster - "Burt Foster's Brand-New Knives"

Ditto!

Actually, I'd also like to congratulate Bruce Voyles on an excellent issue of Knives Illustrated. The entire issue was very well done and the photography was excellent throughout. I've been guilty in the past of wanting more from KI but this issue leaves nothing to be desired.

I don't get KI anymore, but it looks like they picked a couple of quality makers to include in their latest issue. I haven't been impressed with that magazine for a long time now. Maybe I should take another look.

Keith, I have been a subscriber for a while, but have noticed lately that the issues seem to be getting better. Or I should say, more interesting to me considering my taste and interest in particular knives and knife subjects.

Let's not forget RJ Martin, also one of Les's Picks. [OK, I realize he's not a forger, but let's cut him some slack :)]

Good point Sharp. Sorry RJ.
I'm just more familiar with Burt's and Mike's work and have been working closely with them recently on the BF Bowie project. :o

I need to take that signature line OFF;) :D

Hi Kevin,

Since no one has done it I'll mention the write up on Shawn McIntyre. He is an ABS JS and if you are not familiar with his work, I would suggest you check out his knives at the Blade Show.

Kevin: No worries. And, SnarpNJ, Les would probably say not to cut me any slack, because I slack off enough already! <G>

I have not seen the issue yet, but am looking forward to it.

In the past I have had to stuff everything into Friday and Saturday morning...
Are you holding a siminar this year on Saturday?

Hi Kevin,
