BMG: Yeah, it's not like a folder - where the difference between two top-of-the-line knives are basically aesthetics (no offense to the great artisans who produce folders). But when you have a bunch of talented bladesmiths in a far-away country producing what are in effect one of a kind specimens, there is obviously plenty to talk about.

A great architect once said that "form follows function." And given the many functions of a knife, it's no wonder that the kamis craft so many varieties of khukuris. One for combat, one for the kitchen, one for chopping wood, one for . . . well, you get the picture.
