Got my new copy of KI today and am impressed that the format seems to be returning to the format that made it distinctive and successful in the past. I did not like the Blade magazine copy that it was turning out to be but this month's mag gives me hope that it will regain it's position as the leading custom and art knife magazine in the marketplace.

We already have a mag catering to the factory market and do not need another.

That's good news! I had some serious doubts as to where that mag was going, so it's a pleasure to hear it's back on track.

Thank God!
I was getting a tad worried about them. The mags were getting smaller and the mistakes more plentiful. Not a good combo.
Glad to hear they are back on track!:D

They have a ways to go yet. Photo quality on one lead photo is terrible and there is nowhere near the amount of colour there was but the change in format is encouraging.

Have you noticed that one of the other mags seems to be getting thinner and raised the price to $5.95?

I noticed that TK went up in price quite a while ago Lifter. It also does not have the content that I am looking for so I no longer buy it. I will look through it will drinking a coffee at my local Chapters, but that is about it.

I hope KI gets back to being the magazine it once was. The fact that it has shrunk big time and had way to many typos really bothered me. Blade magazine does a way better job as far as I am concerned.

A quality magazine to gauge all others by is the Japanese magazine "Knife" published 6 times a year. The photography and art work put all the other magazines to shame. Only problem, it's in Japanese and reads right to left. It's so good that I have a subscription from Kinokuniya in New York. - Dick
