A word of congratulations to Survive for breaking the 10,000 order barrier!
Keep up the good work, and we'll keep buying them!

Great noticing, Fancier! We'll all be able to say "back in my day we had order numbers that were only four digits long!"

Way to go SURIVIVE! team! Woohoo!!!!!

I think I've bought four so far, so I'm trying to do my part for a great company.
Mine keep disappearing...with my boys...must mean something. :)
Congrats...and don't stop.

I've been contemplating making a comment about wait times but wasn't sure where to make it until here -

I'm new to knife collecting in general for about a year, new to Bladeforum since January this year, and that's about when I got on board as a S!K fan. I did some homework and saw the grind about long wait times, but decided to join in anyway. Specifically I was looking for a brand to lock on to that went well with my woodworking / hand crafted handle hobby.

For me S!K was the perfect mix of a mid-size, production, high(!) quality, premium knife at a great price. It is the 1911 of the knife world, and it would allow me to develop my knife handles and really enjoy a like-minded community. This and one other sub-forum are the only places I hang out. Oh ya, they are damn nice knives, too!

And in 9+ months, I have come into 5 S!K knives. I paid retail price, but no more. I learned how to shop for them and was willing to take seconds or buy in the secondary market. So, while I understand comments out there about wait time, I would like to point out my personal experience is just the opposite. You can get a S!K knife at a reasonable price with just a little patience which makes the appeal a little stronger (imagine if there were unlimited stock on hand - I don't think S!K would enjoy the same level of fan appeal).

So here's to the 10K milestone, and here's to many more!

Thank you everyone! It is pretty crazy to think Guy started this whole thing in a garage and now we're here. We are looking forward to the future, expect great things!

You really think so? I wouldn't argue with a gentleman such as yourself, I just don't know what might happen if things were different.

Do TOPS and ESEE and Kabar suffer because you can buy them anywhere?

Personally, I'd have more than what I have on order if they were all available now. So, speaking for myself The rarity isn't a selling point. The amazing product at the price is what hooks me!

I agree. I'd definitely own more if they were available at retail like the big 3 you mentioned. I own 4 ESEE's right now and I'm contemplating #5. At one time I owned every model they made.

Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS to Survive!Knives!!!

I'm not saying I wouldn't take more... but maybe I wouldn't treasure them as much 😉 I like the collectible aspect that is due, in part, to their limited number.

I make handles and have about 8 projects lined up... and really can't fathom a hundred or a thousand, let alone 10,000. Blows my 2 volt circuit breaker.

If they were easier to get, I'd be SCREWED. I have seven more on order.

I feel ya, bruh!.......er.............. that is to say I understand what you mean.........

I've said before that it seems that knives strike a weird sweet spot between hard use tools and collectible items. With SURVIVE!s there is definitely potential for harder use and higher collectability than your average production company

Forte, I think you missed one....[emoji2] is that zombie green on that one 4.1? We're those factory?
Yes, it was an early set with the gen 2 4.1. It's the only set I've seen like this. Someone said they were one-off scales, but I can't confirm that.

Man look at all those 3.5s! That second one without the ferro notch is sweet forte. Are those camo scales on it? Looks great

They're green and black G10... The green is between evergreen and OD green.
