Someone may already have posted this and I missed it; if so please forgive the bandwidth but give Tracy a slap on the back again anyway.

One of Tracy's beautiful knives made it into "Artistry in Knives" in the February issue of Knife World. Way to go Tracy! You're the first one from this forum I believe I've ever seen in that rather lofty company.

Beautiful knife, too. Congratulations brother,

Thanks you guys. I think Jim Cooper's pictures are what did it. Jim will take a picture and submit it to 4 different publications for consideration. Jim's photography keeps getting better and he has been getting quite a few pictures published lately. www.sharpbycoop.com
This is the first time I've gotten any ink and I didn't expect it. I got a letter with a free sample issue from Knifeworld telling me I was in the publication. Jim later explained the publisher tracks all makers and makes sure they get in no more than once a year. I got one phone call from a guy out east as a message on my machine which I didn't return right away. Naturally, I lost the message and the possible sale but I still got the Knifeworld issue! :p

Knife World is one of my favorite publications of any kind. I have to be careful, because some of the articles about old pocket knife manufacturers have almost made me into a collector of yet another shape! Scary. I was really pleased to see your knife in there Tracy, now KW will feel more like family. ;)

Congratulations Tracy. It just amazes me how many people here hit the big name magazines.

way to go:thumbup: ..lost the message ,:( that's not good. hope he calls back..you'll get a few more out of it..

Tracy, you doing good! We don't have that magazine on the news stands here, maybe I should subscribe to it. Then, I can see your fancy knives you fellas have been kicking out.
