Weighs in at 3lbs now
5 5/8" long

Considerably shorter and lighter than its original rollout.

Any guesses or if somone might recognize the partial stamping..?
Thank you. Its driving me a little bonkers and may always be a mystery but I thought I would try:rolleyes::eek::eek::D

I was just looking into it some more and kept coming up with the same...
Bronson & Townsend Hardware Co., New Haven, Conn. 1923 - 1938

Thanks and the haft in your picture looks similar to the one mine came on.

Excellent! I feel this is a Bronson and Townsend Connie from Connecticut
