Well, I live in CT (at least for now) and I was wondering if there are any knife makers here with me. Sometimes I think I should move to Arkansas, which seems to be the knife knut's Mecca.

Unfortunately, bieng a knife knut doesn't earn me income (quite to the contrary!!) so I have to do the other thing.

Still, I was wondering if there are any custom makers here, or in the NYC area?? (where I'm moving next year)

thanks in advance

I think there might be a couple. Rene Roy lives in danielson, he has a website but I think you will have to do a search. There is knife how this weekend in Marlbrough mass, you could check it out and meet some other makers. Rene will be there. It is sunday 9:30-3 at the holiday inn in marlbrough. Exit 24A off of I-495.

Only the STRONG survive! :) (I am hardly calling myself a 'knifemaker'.)

Like Chuck said. Set your calender for June 22nd for the NCCA two-day show down here in Stamford.

Nice to have another Yankee interested!

Coop from Norwalk..

Rene Roy is in the process of 'building' me a knife. His site is at:
www.geocities.com/royknives Pleasant man to talk to & I hope to see him at the show in June in Connecticut! Hey, maybe that's when my knife will picked up!

thanks guys -- great to know that this land isn't totally desolated.

about that show -- damn!! I'll be in Arizona then, of course, the one time....

Just to clarify, I'm not a knifemaker (well not yet, I definately want to be one)

I'll be moving to NYC in July, but I'd still happily come up to CT to see a show
