I recieved a gift from a friend of mine in the machining industry, it's a Conrac grind-r-lap 5" oscillating diamond wheel grinder. It's used for sharpening carbide tooling. His company was going to throw it away so he thought I could put it to good use. This thing is in excellent condition and I could never afford a new one. Does anyone out there have one of these because I can't figure out how to change the diamond wheel that I haven't purchased yet. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I think that I have one of these at work, but will not be able to confirm until Wed.

Mike-

Looking at the one here in the shop...It looks like it is magnetic...No bolts..It just pulls right off..Sounds strange..But that is how ours works. The diamond wheel fits over the arbor using magnetism....Nice..

That's awesome!! I was completely stumped on how to take the wheel off. I would never have thought it was magnetic.

Thanks!
