Hello,

Im toying with the idea of Offering a Combination Leather Sheath Body, which is Warm and Fuzzy Traditionally, And mating it to A Removable and Interchangable series of Carry options Formed in Consealex.

Best of Both worlds??

I started out making Leather sheath`s and they can be made to withstand alot of abuse.

And my Idea has Consealex Coverage agaist Side Impact Tip Punctures ,Ect.ect..

Just an idea but what do you think??

Im going to do a PROTOTYPE for one of my COMBAT PATROL BOWIES,next week so i will
Scan a pic of it and post it to let you see.

THIS ISN`t going to be your average run of the mill sheath system,it going to be kinda Modular in scope. I hope. 8-)

Dang it now i have to go get some Leather.

YOUR thought`s???

Take Care,
Allen

Allen,

Sounds like an interesting project! Safarriland (?) has done something similar with at least some of their holsters although there is no modular componant in their work. As I understand it, it is more of a lamination process.

I'm looking forward to seeing the scan when you post it.

Allen....

In the other thread Concealex vs. Leather I talk about this...

I think it is a fantastic idea. It has been done before and it does work well. Although a removable insert is new....

For a Big Honker of a blade like a NordooH, BM Anaconda,, this is the Best way to go..A marriage between the two is a great idea....
I Endorse it 100%

Lets see some pictures when you get one done...
