I posted a thread about these knives and the crazy grind that defies all of blade theory.
Some time later I realise how much I have used this knife and how poorly it gets treated.
It is the workhorse of the knife world, I do things with it no knife should endure to spare my super-duper knives that get treated like protected species.
This is the sickness: have piles of premium knive$ made from the best modern materials-science and metallurgy can provide with space age CAD/CAM engineering and continue to use a bargain bin no-name $10, tradesman hacking tool for every other task on the farm.
I have literally spent the day cutting up old car tyres for salt licks with it then go home wash it off and carve a roast and slice my vegetables with it.
