When I found out that the Bloodbathaganzaaa was going to be postponed, I ordered a green linen and DC SS. Anybody else console themselves with a Busse product off the main site or the exchange?
 
Yep! I got an HD through a trade. I got her Saturday morning. :)

Good call on the SS. I want to see pics of that one. ;)
 
I ordered an INFIcoot from Jason Richmond on the Exchange. I've already got a couple Mini-SS knives on order (a black micarta/urban gray and a green micarta/Desert Olive [sage??]). I've been buying FFBMs from the Company Store lately, mainly with the idea that I'll hold onto them as an investment. The FFBMs are in high demand and I expect that they'll appreciate in value, but for my circumstances, they're simply way too big for a carry option.

I'd been thinking about a Leaner Meaner and perhaps one of the new Scrapyard Yard Keepers (but I've heard that even people attending Blade had a hard time getting them). I'm probably better off with the INFIcoot anyway -- I know from experience that it's a great knife: it's rare INFI, it fits my hand very well, and it was less costly than a new Leaner would have been.

Holy shite. I paid about 800 for my AK back in the mid 80's.

I consolled myself with a black mag FFBM that was double cut. See my thread from yesterday for pics.
 
SUNCOAST GUNSHOW CORRECT.Very slow show i was told by some dealers i know.One knife guy had a large swamprat forsale but it was marked Busse.He told me it was an older sterle Busse not so it was a rat ,looked like a tan gripped ratweiler $335.00

Not too many of those around. I think it's a great combination on a killer blade.
I miss my old one. Shown here with PoorGuys queen. :D

I'm consoling myself with the thought of Jerry offering smoothed handles on the SH-A's. Then I really won't care that much that I did/will strike out.

And if not, I might order a don't-care handled DC and have it rehandled in something nicer from the Custom Shop. :) Might take a while, but it'll sooth the savage bummed-out skunked beast.

I feel bad my blade-buddy struck out too. Not only does he feel bad about skunking me, he was THERE and was unable to get his hands on those SH-A's. :(

There's different ones of different values. A romanian wasr isn't worth the same as a vepr.
