I made a brand new post with knives I have never posted and a mod consolidated them into a sales post I had from almost 2 weeks ago..
I followed the rules so I'm not sure why this has happened?
It says you are allowed 1 sales post per day and don't post multiples in separate threads if they are selling basically at the same time.
My last sales post is totally buried atm. It's from nearly 2 weeks ago so yes I'm quite bummed that my brand new sale's thread has been put into it..
I don't mean to sound upset but I kinda am:/
it's unlikely anyone will see the new knives now that they are buried and now I have to wait 2 weeks to make a whole new post......
Help please..
Also I would never make a post like this without contacting the specific mod first, but I Havnt recieved a pm or any info about it yet so I don't know where else to go
Thank you,
-Sebastian

I'm not sure I fully understand the issue here. Did you start 2 threads in the same day in the same forum? It sounds like that is what may have happened. Or you listed the same item in 2 different threads without waiting 2 weeks.
The rules actually say, you are allowed 1 sales thread per section, per day. Not 2, not 4, not 11, just one sales thread per day, per section.
It also says to wait 14 days, not 12, or 13, or 11 days. We look at dates closely. Other members also look at dates too and they report stuff that is clearly a violation.
You haven't really read the rules have you?
Section 2 - Sellers
9. You must wait 14 days (2 week rule) to relist an item for the second time. So once you list an item for sale, that item cannot appear for a second time in a sales thread until 2 weeks have passed from the date of the original thread. Any changes made to your existing sales thread (withdrawing, editing price, etc.) must be made to that thread, don't start new threads with the same items. Use a calendar if you need to. You can link your sales threads to your signature space, but don't make it a giant billboard.

This is the problem, people do not read, no matter how simple we make and edit down the rules. There aren't a ton of rules, there are 9 in total for selling, that is hardly an encyclopedia of reading. If people spent just a few minutes going over what is written basically all over the place, these issues would be nonexistent.

Not to be rude, ( seriously no offense) but you must have not really paid attention while reading my post(understand considering all the posts you have to read in a day )
no I didn't break anything you mentioned.
Like I said the 2 knives I just posted are brand new to the sales forum.. So no I didn't repost them again
And no I never started another thread in the sales forum today. I havnt made another sale thread since my last 1 nearly 2 weeks ago
and yes I actually did bother to read the rules.
Luckily I already got emails from buyers so it's all good now
Thanks,
-Sebastian

Hello guys,
I got 2 customized 940s for sale
1st is an S30V user that I got off a forum member
I restored it and had it acidwashed and stonewashed
the liners and thumbstuds have been darkened aswell as the pockect clip
It has 1 screw on the mid right side that I didn't try to remove because it looks abit stripped( easy to get new screws from bm)
It has some gunk on the right as well since I didn't fully take it apart. Of course it has scratches and such because its a user, but
All in all its a great knife and looks good for its age
plus its quite smooth and has good lock up!
this one doesnt come with a box

2nd is another forum 940
Got it lightly used
Decided to acid wash and stonewash like the first but went a different route and smoothed out the finish for a patina look
It came out great!
It has some very light scuffs from wear, 1 thumb stud is slightly darker then the other, and the blade has some scratches that seem to have come out.
( considering its never been carried since acidwashing and stonwashing Im inclined to believe they are grind lines)
This 1 doesnt have a pocket clip in the pics, but I will put a black contego deep carry clip on it( I can make it look like the other 940s clip as well if you want)
It's s30v as well, is smooth and ready for a life of use :)
This 1 comes with its original box and pouch

used Dark acid 940 is $OLD hipped
patina style 940 is $125 shipped
Looking to sell fast!
Ill cover the fees and shipping as well
I'll only do Paypal via G&S or F&F
I ship USPS Priority same day
First "Ill take it" followed by prompt pm or email gets it
my email is sharksrgr8@aol.com
I'm not against trades but am only really interested in spirit pm2s(satin finish)not against used either
Let's get these gone!

I think the confusion came from the stonewashed 943 as it is pictured in the first sales thread that was edited on the 7th. As long as that one wasn't for sale ad then edited out it looks like you should be all good. The mods can easily check that as they can view edit history.

Honestly you're right the mod might have thought I removed it from that sale thread
I didn't even think about the fact that it was in that pic haha
I'm not sure what happened exactly, if that's the reason I guess Id understand..but ya like you said they can check the history and it's easy to see that it never was posted for sale
Well in the end I sold my knives so no harm I guess ha
Thanks for the info stainl3ss90!

One thing about your original post I noticed, you stated "nearly two weeks". This automatically makes me think that you reposted the knives before the 14 days were up. Nearly refers to less than 14 correct?

If so then yes, you violated the 14 day repost rule.

No offense taken, at all. Maybe though, for your own sake when posturing for your own defense try not to be vague in what you write. If you choose to be more exact in your statements, there leaves little room for interpretation on any the part of any one that is reading. I read and did pay attention, but your post is written in a vague tone, your first and second sentence aren't clear, and the rest references "a thread", but you didn't provide a link, that would have clarified things from the beginning. In any case, glad you for your items sold. We're only as good as what we can gather from what is written. :)

Ya I admit I could have worded it better for sure
I should have definitely linked the threads in question as well
Thanks for being cool about this all revdevil!
