Maybe the most terrifying folder-Beast on the market: The RAO by Extrema Ratio.

Not so terrifying anlonger after this test?
Let`s say: the blade held up very well, but how about the rest of this knife...

Curious? Then watch this and enjoy this mad knife user beating the hell out of his RAO.:D

The vid is in english language, though it starts with some words in German!

Atb,Chris:)

Well what the hell do you expect when you beat on a folder like that????? I'm surprised it held up that well!

This folder has been developed for extreme hard use as a tool(information from E.R.) for a special unit of the italian army. The blade held up very well, therefor I gave this knife 8/10 points.

The dissapointing issue on this knife is the Roll-lock.It mustn`t become loose after chopping some fir-wood.That`s ridiculous! Extrema Ratio sells this knive as a "fixed-like" knife and points to its performance abilities as a pry tool(actually it has a pry tip which is not sharp, cause it`s MEANT for prying!).

I agree that my test is a very hard test -but,so what?!
How else would you try to find out,if the advertisement of E.R. for this knife is correct???
How else would YOU find out its limits?
I do this, that some of you get informations about, what such a knife is able to do.

This knife is recommended by Extrema Ratio for service men and soldiers in the army, and they expect the very best for their jobs.Especially when they got a tool-knife like this.
This knife is definitely not meant to put butter onto your bread!

We drive cars intentionally against walls(in crash tests),just to find out,how save and/or strong they are built.
Well, sometimes I do this with my knives.

By the way: I repaired this RAO meanwhile, just by putting a stronger spring into the roll-lock.Why didn`t Extrema Ratio do this??

best regards
