Can any of you tell me where to pick up any contact wheels? Thought about making my own, but decided it would probably be better to buy one. I know I saw some on the net some where, but can't remember where.(dain bramage). Any help/suggestions on building my own grinder would also be apperciated.

Thanks,Dave

I have bought several contact wheels from Sheffield Knife Supply in Deltona Fl. I don't have the # in front of me. If you need it, Email me and I will provide you with it. I just finished making my third wheel. I had some left over 2" aluminum plate from a fixture. There is a company in Tampa that I used to have the rubber applied and serrated.

There are plans for a grinder at WWW.bacafe.org/KBG/ , I have seen several wheels in magazine articles that were made of high grade plywood.I guess it depends on time or money.

stephen bader co. sells them and i would imagine...since they are a manufacturer. that a lot of other people buy them there and resell them...they are great guys..give them a call...

You can buy contact wheels from Jantz Supply in Davis, Ok. I just bought 8" and 10" smooth wheels for my Wilton. They get them from Bader though, so you can get either from them. They have a web site, but its not too good yet. Heres their number 1-800-351-8900. Take care! Michael

Thanks for all the asstance! I've tried some of the sites listed, and am sure to get what I need. It's great having a site like this where the help is so abundant and accurate. That realy shows the quality of the people who use this site and the people who over see it.

Thanks again to all, Dave
