Contact Wheels

Where is a good source for contact wheels, and what would I expect to pay for an 8 or 10 inch contact wheel?

I got two new wheels a couple months ago from Bader. They were around $175 each with the bearings and spindles. 8" smooth and 10" smooth. Well worth the money! Take care! Michael

Any reason why you prefer the smooth wheels over the serrated ones.?

Marcel, the serrated vibrates badly after a while, and since I've bought the smoothies, I love em. They don't vibrate at all and I get alot smoother grind, especially with the finer grits. I would suggest them to anyone over the serrated.

Serrated wheels are good for heavy stock removal.
