Dumb technophobe question but forgive me.

How does one contact a SELLER in the ads? I've bought 3 or 4 items now and always just add "contact me at my e mail" etc.

On the home page, lower right side is what appears to be ongoing conversations. There? How's that work?

Stupid in MT

You can only communicate with them publicly on BF unless you have a paid membership which will allow direct private messaging. For the rest of your question I am not sure I follow what you are saying.

I'm talking about the NEW PROFILE POSTS area on the home page, lower rt side.

I was aware of no PM's unless a member, guess I need to join.

Thanks Pirate.

If you click onto a user's profile you can post to their profile. Those post are public and what is showing on the home page I just never noticed what was in that area of the home page to know that it was there.

You can post on the profile page or you could just quote the ad in the ad thread and they will be made aware of your post. You can also post F FN in MT in the thread to get their attention

You can tag a person with the @ symbol then their name this puts an alert up for them which increases the odds they will see and read your post.

The alerts are why people do that and also a way to reference or respond to a thread that you do not specifically quote.
