Contacting Rod at skookum bush tools.

Hey guys,

I've recently wanted a SKB as they are my holy grail of scandi knives.


I've have tried contacting rod to get on the waiting list and haven't heard from after a couple tries. Is he just real slow to respond or taking a break? Just wanna know from those who have talked to him l lately (if anybody has.)

When I got on his list he awnsered within a few days...I got on his list, but IIRC he said once his wait is longer then 24 months he stops taking orders. Thats the thing with the SBT, lots of waiting. When I got on his list, I was 18mos out for it. Still got quite awhile to wait.

Im sure he will get back to you...
 
He's probably just away for a couple of days. I always have had very pleasant conversations and a fast response time from him.

Rod's a great guy. He'll respond, I'm sure. FWIW, I waited two years for mine. I thought that was unusual, but it's not. His knives are in great demand, even still. Once you hold and cut with one, you'll know why.
