Contemplating trading up to a Large 21

A few years back I was lucky enough to pick up a small 21 Damascus. I've carried it most days and have grown fond of it. I have recently been carrying large folders than this though. A large griptilian. Tispine. Even my Buck Mayo. The handles all are larger and just more comfortable for me. So I have been thinking about trading up from the small to the large. What do you guys think? I think it'd be nice to try out and I could always trade back down I suppose. I'm sure the large is plenty pocket friendly, especially for me being 6'2" .

That's a keeper. The knife already has character-your character--from being a daily companion. I love seeing the higher-end 21's actually being used. I would just bite the bullet and start saving for a large 21. There will always be occasion to own and use a small, elegant 21 like that.

It has to many memories to get rid of, i wouldnt allow myself to let it have a spa treatment either. It takes away all the character.
 
Nothing better looking than a good user. Trust comes with time and use, so I'd keep her as is for sure.
I'd save up for a large though for sure or pick up a user on the exchange.
 
You'll want both. As soon as you get rid of the small you'll want a small again. Save up for the 21.
 
I had a small a few years ago and went to large. I couldnt have been happier and will never own a small again unless I find one for less than 225$ used.
Im a midget at 5 ft 9 1/3" ;) and the large fits my large size hand like a glove. More like a wide medium hand that fills a large glove.
 
I agree with the other posts about hanging on to the one you have. It's a great looking knife!

However, I do think that you would like the large better, and there is nothing wrong with owning more than one CRK.
 
Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I think I'm going to try to trade for a large. I can't own more than one CRK so I'll have to just hope I'm making the right decision. If not there's always another one to be had.
 
You can only own one crk due to financial reasons? If so, trade up to a large. I have zero smalls anymore. Only large 21's and a Zaan. Of all my knives ive EVER owned including my 21's my umnumzaan is my favorite by a long shot. Its like a 21 with more flare and better grip. Plus that killer swedge for scraping or fire starting mmmm i love my Zaan.
 
Ya it's a rule of mine. Only 1 seb to make sure I keep variety. So trade up I will. I out up a trade thread. Let's see if I get any trades.
