Hi all, Here's a fighter I just finished for one of our brave men going to Afghanistan. It has a 154 CM blade 7 inches long, 1 3/8 wide, and 3/16 inches thick at the guard. It has a green canvas Micarta handle with pins of the same material. I made the sheath too, of nylon webbing. The knife weighs in at 12 ounces and balances at the index finger. The whole package weighs 1 pound.

As I was writing this my soldier stopped by to pick it up, he sure was happy to have it.

Please be sure to tell me what you think. Mark

Mark, I really like it. It's got simple and smooth lines and looks like a great fit to the hand. And I dig the rig, too.

Looks great, Mark. The quality of a custom such as yours could mean the difference between life and death for that soldier. God bless you!

Great looking knife mark! I'm finishing a knife with green canvas Micarta and almost used a micarta pin too, ended up using SS!

BTW entered "Guess the Maker" in the latest issue if KI Hope I was first! That was a beauty too!

Thanks Steve, Are you sure it was me? I hope you were the first too. Thanks again Mark

you are a most gracious man, who happens to make some extremely well crafted and imaginative knives.
Guys like you make this custom knife thing awesome.

Nice piece Mark and very functional design and suited for purpose.
Anything we can do to give our servicemen any degree of enjoyment and heighten their feeling of security
as they're deployed in harm's way is worth it's weight in gold.

Well said. I'm sure he feels like a piece of home and security is with him while in hostile territories. Good work Mark.
