The 12K contest closes tonight at midnight (EST). We'll cut up the strips and select tomorrow.

There were more than 240 posts. Only a few accidental doubles (which we'll delete).

I noticed many that posted weren't regular posters on the Spyderco forum. I'm curious as to how they knew there was a contest. I didn't see any announcements outside of the Spyuderco forum. Any ideas or did I just miss a post soewhere?

Yes, I think this contest resulted in a few de-lurkings. And that's a good thing.

Seems kind of like when we have a special lunch after church on Sundays. "Members" show up that haven't been to church since the last lunch.

I check your forum almost every visit. I like how your company works and am always curious about how people are reacting to your products and what you have going on.

Im an admitted Spydie forum lurker and contestant. I got my first Spydie recently (Delica98), and am considering the Lightweight Calypso Jr.

Not intentionally lurking, but enjoy the info here (unfortunately with my limited knife knowledge I don't have too much to add to the threads). Still in learning mode, so keep the info coming!!

I admit, I only visit this forum about once a week.

I've been generally lurking because when I get to a particular thread, someone else has usually said what I would say, only better

I'm yet another lurker. Being new to collecting quality knives (used to get POS knives) Spyderco is a company that i am very interested in purchasing from.

Before i found Bladeforums, and being that i live in the UK, i had no clue what quality knives were and what Spyderco was. My first Spyderco was the Blue Native and im sure there will be many more to come.

Thanks for producing quality knives.

I usually post elsewhere on the forums, but this is a regular stop. When the owner of the company is in-house (in-forum) it makes it kind of hard for a end user, like myself, to give unusal and new insight. After all Sal, we're getting all the poop straight from you
