Well guys,I'm getting near to my 1000th post,so in honor of that milestone,I've come up with a contest.The prize is a Case 6347HP stockman 1986 vintage that's never been used,sorry,no box.I bought it figuring to use it but I have more than enough users now,so it's been hiding in my safe ever since,now it's somebody elses turn to look after it.This contest is going to run until Thursday January 15 at 9:00 in the evening,to win it your going to have to guess how many miles I put on my 1996 Chevy S10 pickup between now and then.Tomorrow,around noon,I'm leaving for PA and I'll be down there for most of the time from now until the contest ends,I'm going to set the trip meter and whoever is closest,without going over the total number of miles from now until 1/15@9:00 PM will win the knife.A couple of hints,it's over 200 miles one way,but I also have a couple of gift cards for Cabelas that I'm hoping to get rid of while I'm down there.There are a couple of more variables though,too,this old truck has almost 280,000 miles on it,so it's getting to be a crap shoot as to whether it'll make it down and back and I have no idea how much other running around I have to do either.So there's your mission if you choose to accept it,good luck.Here's the prise

BTW,if I win,I may keep it.may not,either way,I'll pass one on to one of the Boy Scouts in my wifes troop.

Neat contest for a good knife - thanks for the chance. Hope the truck runs like a top, and you put a lot of fun miles on it - 892 of 'em, to be exact:).

Nice of you. And congrats on the milestone. Since I have won recentlly I am abstaining. Hope you have a good, safe trip. I live in PA and we are expecting snow tomorrow. They are talking it up big, so I expect it to not do much. LOL Or we will get nailed.
