This is open for Basic Members only who go for the Gold by the day before the East Coast Custom Knife Show(Dead Line 3/4/2004 8:00 pm), all you have to do is guess closest to the amount of my take home pay for a 2 week 80 hr no overtime pay period.

Got it, what's up for grabs? A Smiths Deluxe Sharpening kit with 2 stones oil and a sharpening guide, I've used it twice, but I like my bigger benchstones so this one just sits around the kitchen.

The medium stone is set in a holder it measures approx 5" X 2 3/4", the fine stone which sits in a recess in the bottom is 4" X 1".

Wish I had more but it's all I got, and if you were on the fence about going Gold maybe this might be enough to push you over.

Good Luck and I'll post the winner the Monday after the ECCKS.

I'd just like to add, 1 guess per person.:)

That sucks. How long did you work there?

Don't sweat it, I've been workin' since I was 15, for myself and other people, I was actually thinkin' of cruisin' out to Colorado to see my Mom,(who I haven't seen for 3 years) and my Brother and his family from Alaska,(who are visiting my Mom),(who I haven't seen in 12 years), and makin' a vacation, I'll be back to work when I ready, oh BTW I'm a 20 year career Mechanic/Machinist/Millwright/Fabricator/Electro Mechanical Technician, who also teaches, and Designs PBET (Performance Based Equipment Training) classes and Chemical/Safety Classes.

Wow when ya write it all down at once it looks good.

I did work at Mikey D's once (2 weeks), and a factory job for a summer,(that's a long story for W&C one day), but I've been in the trades for over 20 years so, I'll find work.
