I am thinking of holding a contest where people post links to their reviews of JK knives.


After a few months, I will choose a winner based on:


- quality of reviews
- volume of unique placements of the reviews (other forums besides BF)
- plus points if a customer orders a knife and references the review

The prize will be $50 off the JK knife of your choice.

Let me know your thoughts, and if you are interested in doing this.

I like it!

Maybe make the amount a set amount so that if someone orders something like a DBH or a beautiful new XD Modern Bowie it won't escalate the prize.

OOOORRRR - make up a special knife as the prize for this, and part of the requirement is that there has to be orders placed that reference the review -

That is an effective way to pay for advertising in my way of thinking.

Just ideas - but I think this is a great incentive to get some of the loyal to get out and use the knives and show that off around the web.

Great idea. I hope it gets a lot of attention.
 
I don't know if reposting reviews in tons of places is a good requirement, you don't want to end up like the mantis militia.

I see what you mean - I personally just post a review in a few different places, since I have friends that frequent some of the other blade related forums - but don't come here.
