Contest question involving becker knives

Ok so I am not sure on the Becker/Ka-bar knife thing and noticed some of the contests require the use of the Becker knives. I own alot of knives but the closest I have is a Ka-bar 1217, would this qualify me to play or must I buy the BK-2 I have been lusting over to play?
 
You must use a Becker knife.

Not sure, but I think you also have to already be a Beckerhead, or be one by the end of the time frame.
 
Either way, contest or not, you HAVE to buy the BK2. No discussion. Every man has to own at least one Becker knife.

It really depends on what I want to put in the rules.:D Some contests are open to anyone, any knife, but those are rare. The general rule is Becker knives for Becker contests, though.

Yeah I will end up with a 2 anyways was just wondering. Also I looked and could not come up with what it takes to get a beckerhead number, can someone post a sticky or something. I bet the first step is to order my BK-2
