Contest Thread: First Exposure to Busse!

Hey folks, just wondering about how you first discovered Busse.

The thing that made me look into Busse was an ad I saw for the Killer B. I thought it was cool and I decided to go to their website to see what else was there. I registered for the home forum and then here and I was hooked. I ordered an SH-E from papathud and the rest is history. After collecting for a while, I recall reading about Busse knives and seeing ads in magazines when I was in high school, but I never got interested in them back then. Too bad, I wish I had spent my money on early Busse rather than Cold Steel and other various blades like I did back then.

I ran across an ad for a Battle Mistress on eBay with a mention of INFI. I was curious what alloy that was and my googling led me here. That was when I joined BF.

I most be honest.... I also found my way here via the Swamp.

Was looking for a big and bad fixed blade to replace my SOG and well the rest is history. Sold all my Rats to buy INFI and having been selling all my other knives to buy more. And I have NO REGRETS!!!! :thumbup:

I found out about Jerry through an article Ron Hood wrote for American Survival Guide about the Battle Mistress. Ended up buying a straight handled Steelheart because of that article.:thumbup:

I heard of Busse when I first joined BF about 6 years ago.
