Contest to celebrate my new BeckerHead # :)

So in honor of receiving my new beckerhead number, I think a contest is in order
So this is going to be a fire making contest, and before you say anything about it being done already there is a catch.

Contest rules:
-You must make a fire and post pics of it, and post pics of you making it!
-No lighters, ferro rods, fluids or accelerants of any kind(lighter fluid, gas diesel, or any other flammable liquid), matches, or other traditional fire -making devices(up to my discretion).
-post pics of everything you used to ignite the fire

Well that's about it.
It's pretty simple, and in case you don't quite understand I'll brake it down.
The entire goal is to be creative, and ignite a fire using something not commonly used to make fire. I wana see the most outrageous way you can think of to start a fire. Again, I know this is a wild and creative bunch so it shouldn't be too difficult

Some ideas off the top of my head:
-Angle grinder and a piece of steel(preferably some cheap gas station folder)
-Hammering the throttle on your motorcycle and using the exhaust pipes
-Rubbing 2 cats together
-Anything really as long as it gets hot

The winner will be chosen by my crazy roommate.
The contest will end at midnight on 2-19-2012(seems like a reasonable time frame)
The prize will be a custom made ferro rod similar to these(but I will make a special one before the end of the contest, and post pics as soon as it's done)

Chatting is welcome, a fire extinguisher is recommended. This is my first contest so let me know if I missed something
Oh almost forgot, contest is open to any BF member!

Very cool idea for a contest. I'll give this one a try. One time I accidentally set my bootleg belt sander on fire by accident. I was shaping a handle for one knife and had some really fluffy sawdust built up in the sander then I went to sharpen a different knife quick and the dust caught fire from the sparks! Didn't hurt the sander any, but it sure surprised me. (this obviously isn't my entry just a story) I'll make another post with my actual entry.

Well my roommate is a musician, and loves to debate politics so that might give you a leg up

but the lava was AWESOME!

so, bah. not enough sunlight in Winter for my favorite trick...

I am having some dental surgery tomorrow so it looks like I will be out of commission over the weekend. I was really looking forward to submitting my entry for this contest this weekend. I will have to wait now. I'm not a very patient person haha.
