Received all my 'loot' from the contest and thought I'd thank everyone individually...

White Lightning, thanks so much for the offer of this product Mike/Spark and Sponsors as I was just running out and needed to order but hadn't any knives in mind so was torn over what to order or to suffer shipping costing as much as the product!

Tuf Glide, same thing as above... Bottle had a few drops left when I got the notice! Incredible timing!

Flitz, I'd heard lots about this and was very interested in getting some as my EDC is a Spyderco Calypso Jr in SS and I want to keep 'er pretty. This will definitely do the trick!

Delta Z 'Aussie' Collectors knife, thank you very much. Great knife and the high quality you expect from Delta Z! Great little slip joint folder!

Emerson Knives, I just got done selling my CQC7 to buy new golf stuff and was pretty torn when I sold that one... Getting it back with the 'wave' feature on it was just fantastic! Truly a hard use knife that is one of my favorites!

Normark Custom Sheath, Man this guy builds 'em ROCK SOLID PERFECT! I had heard only great things and so when he posted that I'd won one of his sheaths in addition to the rest I was ecstatic! This sheath is perfect in every way and a true example of high craftsmanship! I'll miss this one but it's going to a great home! (BTW, hope your son does well in his recovery Eric... He's got strength in his eyes that will see him through!).

Bayou LaFourche (? sorry if I misspelled that!), this is quite the story... Thanks for the BM NimCub as it is truly one heck of a knife and I'm now converted to a 'fixed' blade fetish as a result of handling this knife. When I first heard about winning it I thought 'What will I do with that?' as I'd previously just been in to folders. I knew it was a solid blade but had never held one and had little interest in fixed blades. So, I'm browsing in the Exchange and see a post for a 'cheap' laptop... Read it and see that the NimCub is listed as a possible trade plus $$ option and the price was already good. I shoot off an email to Chad Pirtle ('CPirtle') another really nice upstanding BFC Member and we work out the deal! So, I end up trading that knife and another I had as well as a bit of $$$ and end up with a Toshiba laptop operating at TWICE my desktop clock speed, has over THREE times the amount of hd space, connecting to the net at over twice my previous baud, get all the accessories you could need for a laptop and all that in an incredibly portable and compact machine not to mention some fantastic software which was included. My previous desktop was a jurassic POS 486 upped to P90 and was held together with everything including a bit of duct tape! Man, I'd been looking for a computer for a long time (over 4 years really...) and had actually gotten a new one for my kids while I suffered with the other one. Your offering of the NimCub truly changed my life with this new machine! It has also created a significant craving for a large Nimravus!

Thanks again to all the above for all the reasons above as well as the good feelings and happiness I have inside which are hard to put into words. On top of becoming a place for me to come and interact with some great people BFC has truly had a positive impact on my life with this recent contest!

Mike & Spark and all the BFC Members/Lurkers out there... Thank you all again! I met a total stranger here on BFC like many other times and ended up with a bit of friendship and an incredible deal all surrounding and stemming from the love of knives! This place is truly incredible and mere 'Thanks' is not enough but that's all I have to give.

Sincerely,
Shawn Cadwell

Very gracious post, Shawn. While not as much as if I'd won

, I thought it was great to see someone I "knew" win.

Kinda thought you'd dropped out or something. Good to see your name on a post again. I'm still digging the Impulse. Thanks again for such a great deal.

As the recipient of this piece (BM NIM) I would like to mention that Shawn was very broke up over having to send me the NIM and the Normark once he got them in his hands. Glad we finalized before they came because I almost thought he was going to renig on our deal

Not really, he showed great resolve in getting them out to me in light of his "Love at first sight" reaction.

I can't wait to see them myself!
