[JK Knives]

I`ve decided that whenever I reach a 1000 post count (for example, right now I am at 10321 posts, when I reach 11000 posts I will have a contest , and every 1000 posts after that), to win a free prize. It might be something as simple as a L.R.K. or a JK hat, or something else. I will be asking for contest ideas, so if you have one, post it here. Remember, the more posting you do here on this forum, the more likely it will be that I post, and that means we get closer to contest time. So let`s get some new topics started!

I'd like to see a design contest where John picks the style (such as a Fighter or Skinner) and then everyone posts their interpretation of that style.

A shelter construction contest using your JK as the only tool

The $20 survival kit was fun, maybe that for everyone?

Pics of your kids, nieces, nephews, neighbor kids, etc with a JK?

An essay contest with a fictional work that includes a JK reference

Construct three basic tools/useful items (like a fish spear, mallet and spoon or whatever) using only your JK

A pimp your JK photo contest

How about "identify this place" contest? Post photos of places and first to guess the location wins.

We can do a "identify this rock" contest, but I'd be too embarassed if I don't win

Following on from the ideas here how about a name that jk contest with pictures of silhouettes and other somehow obscured knives.

Just some ideas for consideration. They need to be fleshed out though.

Teach a kid new skills contest - a contest where we're teaching a kid new skills. Building fires, making traps, creating a shelter, etc...

A photoshop contest. It could something where a picture of a JK knife is photoshopped into some other photo (say in the hand of some historical figure) or it could be something just for fun - like a picture of John himself photoshopped into pictures from all around the world.

A Follow my JK knife contest - pictures showing your JK knife being used for different tasks over a few days time.

A best review contest - the best review (as chosen by John or popular vote) given during a specified time wins..

A George Washington chopping contest - featuring a JK hawk or hatchet used to chop through a tree or large branch.

A pumpkin carving contest

A best JK knives ad contest (or a funniest JK ad contest)
