I've been in one of my recurring dagger phases lately & have been deciding ahead of time on a few tax return items this weekend. A decent V-42 stiletto is on the agenda & I keep coming back to these Continental Precision V-42s:

The price is steep for being one of several well-made leather & plain carbon steel replicas out there. Aside from exclusivity (only 1000 or so made), does anyone know much else about these? Anyone own one? How do they compare to, say, a Hanwei or Boker version? I couldn't run down a Case repro for less than $800 but am aiming for the best version of the knife I can get. That, & I'm just really curious about these mysterious knives. Feel free to blab on about any other versions of this knife too, as I'll probably be getting a Boker or Hanwei too, just 'cause. Thanks.
