TOP -- Broken Arrow explains some fine points of the stick to Bill.

Center -- And does more explaining to Bill, Dave and Vikash.

Bottom -- and finally explains everything to everybody.

Yes, Damian, and Howard brought and SHARED his bottle of Khukuri rum that Pala (aka Kami Sherpa) sent him earlier this year. Needless to say it was empty before the convention room was.

When I lived in Nepal I discovered that visiting Aussies took a strong liking to the equally strong Khukuri rum. You did miss out but there is always next time. Wish you could have been there.

That Khukuri rum sure did smell good! Too bad I had to leave that afternoon! I don't think the Nevada L.E. officers would give a CA L.E. officer a break after getting a smell of that rum! Next time, I guess.

When you took these picture Uncle, I think I was discussing the uses of a Khukuri in Filipino Escrima. Also, some of the advantages of the curved blade in cutting. Also, we were asking Vikash how his cutting strokes with a Khukuri looks like, and what is his preferred target zone. I really enjoyed everyones company, and will flatly state that the H.I. brothers and sisters are the best! Thanks again Uncle for the wonderful weekend!

Great convention!

I learned things from the attendees that are rarely found in books or on the internet.

Looks like fun, Nevada's a bit far for me to travel to. The lesson passed on would have made the trip well worth it though.

So who made it to the convention. It looks like you guys had a good turn out. A lot of khukuri'made it too.

The group was small and informal which is just the way to do it. Quality, not quantity and I would not have it any other way. If and when I can get caught up I'll try to post a list of people who could make it -- 15 or 20 total, I'd guess. Lance Strong has the list but he is a lurker!
