Lance just received a fax of his Knives khukuri article while here in Reno and it looks pretty good. Maybe somebody who knows more about the publication than me can comment further.

And if you look lower left, right down at the bottom you see about half of a hawk whose head was forged by Yvsa's cuz, and which Yvsa handled and decorated and sheathed. Also look at the reflection in the mirror next to Howard and to the left of my hand you can see it's head shape.
