Converted BM 630 (pics)

I call this the C630 (C=Cucchiara ), lefty type, one each. I screwed up and broke the tap I was using to thread holes for a deep pocket carry clip. I had no idea about using ferric chloride to dissolve the broken tap, so I sent the folder back to Matt. He worked his magic. Got it back today. Did the ole Oxy Clean treatment, flame-colored the hardware on a stove top and here we go:

Thats really pretty.
Id like to see one with a long purple - blue fade treatment as well.
What a great knife the 630 is.
 
How did he get the dimples out?

I am thinking of buying another 630 just to customize, some real nice work is being done to these knives.

Matt made new scales from scratch in order to convert the 630 to a lefty. He also trimmed the blade down below 4" to make it New York City legal. The handle design was slightly tweaked to accomodate the shortened blade and a usuable lanyard hole.
 
I took the dimples out by laying a wet cloth over them and using a hot iron on top of that.....J/K :D

Real nice work, now I see that it is shorter.

What is the cost of doing this?

I just check Matt's site out, WOW, I like his knives. I will just need to save up some money here, he has some real nice large customs.

Good eye. Yes, it is.

I wish BM would make a Skirmish like this, too. Both righty AND lefty version would be nice. This is a much simpler version, no dimples and such.
 
Under 4" blade, dimpleless, dark ti.. LOVE IT(BM coulda atleast made all the dimples one color like the USN special)
