converting a kiln to digital

Yes and no. The parts are readily available, and some suppliers sell them as a group.

All that is needed is a PID, SSR, TC, and associated mounting and wiring items. The current kiln is not changed beyond the addition of the new TC. The kiln plug is plugged into a socket operated by the PID and SSR. The kiln is set on FULL/HI/MAX/10 or whatever the highest setting is. The PID will turn it on and off as needed to maintain the temperature setting programmed into the PID.
