Converting Camillus Heat to Manual

My son just got a Heat. Cool knife -- IMO quicker opening than the Kershaw Whirlwind or the SOG Flash I that I once had, or the Dominator, for those who like assist.

Anyway, last weekend Darrel Ralph was showing us how to convert it to manual. But it was kind of crowded and I got distracted and didn't quite get all of his instructions. It has something to do with removing a screw on the torsion bar side. I can kind of see how the torsion bar sticks out from the liner a little and maybe removing the screw moves it away from whatever it catches on the blade. (?)

My questions are:

1. Is just removing the screw how do you do it? and

2. Once it's done, can it be undone? (converted back to assist?)

I don't want to remove the screw without knowing whether doing so could screw something up -- otherwise I'd just try it. After all -- it's HIS knife and it's brand new -- no sense messing it up right away.

My son also asks: "Is the assist worth keeping?"

Thanks Jocko. It was right there -- didn't even need to do a search. :o :o :o We did the conversion in less than a minute. He changed his mind and we converted it back to assist, again in less than a minute. The knife even came with the required longer screw and torx tool.

You gotta give Darrel Ralph a lot of credit for designing this knife. I haven't heard of any other assist knife that can be made manual so easily. Is there another?
