Converting MOV files

Can anyone tell me how to convert MOV files to mpeg or wmv files?

This is a quick guide I've found and used with some success (however, there are some more obscure .mov codecs that it doesnt work with, for example ones that have multiple audio streams)

WinAVI Video Converter is available as shareware and can convert from *.mov to *.avi or *.mpg.

I have used a program called TMPGenc in the past to do this with the .mov files my digital camera makes. It worked pretty well. Also check out the forums at videohelp.com for more advice.
