I've been toying with the idea of modifying some jimping. I like the bigger/deeper jimping like this:
Especially on the utilitac 2.
I'm thinking about trying to mod my Sage 3 to be wider (just the spine side). I'm thinking about filing every other "step" off, has anyone done this before? I know it would take a ton of work to get it as deep as the utilitac but I'm thinking I could make it pretty similar to the Southard with not much work, no need to go as deep. Has anyone done anything similar? How did it work out? I have cut jimping in a spine that had none but I've never modded existing jimping and that was AUS-6, not S30V.
