Convex 14

Just finished the edge on my new 14, yea yea I know! I'm gunna put a convex grind on everything in sight

I use a 2" belt sander but I finish it off by hand.

Awesome! The convex seems to run rather high, no? Or is that just the lighting? I convexed the edge of my 14 too, but the edge only, not much higher.

Looks about right to me. Nice and thin. I'll bet it slices like a razor now.

It might be a little high but for what it is I think it will be ok, I won't be chopping with It so I'm not worried about damaging the edge too much. It does slice like a razor though, I'll put some pics up when I get home.
