hello again everyone, i hope the trough is happy these days. I have been in and out of here as of late and hope all is well. Looks like the hogs are stirring and they seem like they are hungry for new infi from what ive seen on the exchange recently
well i was lucky enough to snag some grails from a great guy, thanks again J you really did me a solid and i am very gratefull. I got my hands on a satin ABA with snakeskin a few months back and never having held an ABA i instantly fell in love , the feel and balance were great not to mention the nice high saber grind on new shiny INFI
. Well the more i held it the more i wanted to use it, but i couldnt bring myself to use the snakeskin beauty and had made a comment to that effect to the HOG i bought it from. Well the transaction was done and he wished me luck and i was on the hunt , i saw a few but they were coated and the more i thought about it i wanted to hold out for a satin because i wanted to use the ABA in food prep as well as everything else, so i waited.....and searched.....
Then one day i received a pm from none other than the gracious HOG who had sold me my grail ABA, he asked me "how fared my search for my user ?" , i replied that i had not found the perfect match as of then and was still looking. This true swine offered me a great deal on a perfect satin aba with black paper handles if i promised to use it and post pics , i being a greedy piglet quckly agreed, and thus my thread. i have used this thing to to quite a few things around the house, i have not been able to take it outside too much due to a lack of a sheath at this time, even still i have gotten enough use into this knife to know that i love it even more than i did before using it. i usually stay away from convex edges due to the fact that i dont really know how to sharpen them , but the zero convex edge on this sucker is just to good to pass on. I have sharpened drafting pencils , opened packages , removed a splinter from my girls hand, sliced through countless pieces of paper and cardboard, prepped food as well as cutting cooked food and im still happy with how sharp it is. sorry for the long-winded intro but i wanted to articulate to the awesome hog who sold me these how gratefull i am.
my girlfriend was making dinner and made the mistake of saying "baby there are NO sharp knives in the kitchen" which i answered by quietly walking in our room and coming back out with my camera and a lil slice of INFI. enjoy:thumbup:
Gave her a quick bath
Chow time!!!
