Can you sharpen one of these on the Sharpmaker?? If so, how ??

I don't want to answer for Mr. Glesser, but I recall that he answered the same question on the Spyderco forum some time ago. He said that you sharpen a convex edge on the Sharpmaker just as you would any other edge. Eventually the edge won't be convex anymore but double beveled (15+20 deg).

I've heard that if you want to keep a convex edge convex, the easiest way is to use sandpaper and a slightly yielding material like a mouse pad. Glue the sandpaper on the mouse pad then strop.
