Has anyone here kept their ESEE knife on convex edge? Would it be easier to maintain the knife on convex edge? Thanks.

I keep my rc-5 convexed, as for maintenance I'm pretty sure its the same for convex and V edges

I convexed my Izula when i first got it, but just yesterday reset the bevels with an EdgePro sharpener.

I keep my 4 and 3 convexed. Very easy. I use my Sharpmaker and just lay the blade over a little and then a little more and then a little more. After awhile, it has a nice rounded edge that is easy to maintain.

My 5's edged was thinned and convexed. It is maintained easily with some sandpaper. (for me anyway)

In the field it is way easier to maintain and you can use sand paper or in my case my wifes nail block to put a polished edge on it

I have convexed all my ESEEs, they are easier for me to maintain that way. I do it a bit different from some, I use stones to put the convex on and use a strop mostly for maintenace.
